Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara Reserve
The trip from Nairobi to the Mara reserve starts early in the morning to catch the Nairobi sunrise. You will travel to the reserve after a delicious breakfast. We include either a picnic lunch or reservations at a lovely restaurant. Your camera will come in handy during this trip because many sights will create great posts for your social media libraries. You will reach your destination at the Mara in the early evening. This is a great time to catch the lovely sunset. You can then check-in and enjoy your dinner.
Day 2: Masai Mara Reserve Tour
The Masai Mara is popular for its large population of different species. It is here that you will interact with the wild from a comparative perspective. We insist on a sunrise breakfast because the dawn in this lush area is breathtaking. After that, you will go on a guided game drive within the reserve. Expect to see the big cats alongside gazelles, baboons, African buffaloes, wildebeests, and desert warthogs, to name a few. You will enjoy lunch in one of the lovely eateries before residing back to the accommodations and preparing for the next day.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Reserve
Departure from Masai Mara is in the early morning, giving you one last chance to catch the orange sunrise. You will then enjoy a fun road trip touching on amazing scenic views and local markets for souvenirs. Expect a packed picnic lunch or dining at one of the fine restaurants along this route. You will arrive at your destination in the early evening for a chance to enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake, bathing in the lovely sunset. You can check-in, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Reserve to Nairobi
Day four has a lot of activities to cover before you can go back to Nairobi. That is why breakfast is at sunrise, after which you will go to the reserve for a morning game drive. You will get to see the famous Lake Nakuru, deservingly named ‘The Pink Lake.’ There is a large population of flamingoes that resides here, hence the name. Lake Nakuru is also home to many animals, including rhinos, waterbucks, lions, African wild dogs, and even buffaloes. You will enjoy a scenic picnic lunch before continuing with the game drive. Come late afternoon; you will make your departure back to Nairobi.
