Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Reserve

Your amazing trip starts with a morning departure from your accommodations. You will drive to Lake Nakuru national reserve. This is the ideal trip for groups because tourists can enjoy seeing the sights, stopover at local markets for souvenirs, and of course, Instagram-worthy posts. You will arrive at the reserve in time for lunch at the lodge. Enjoy the best of Kenyan-style meals as you enjoy the spectacular views from your accommodations. After this, you can check-in at the lodge or tented accommodations for a chance to sleep under the stars. Spend your afternoon enjoying some of the facilities of the accommodations such as swimming and the spa. Relax, and rest up for the next days.

Lake Nakuru is home to the largest population of flamingoes in the country. The lake is commonly known as ‘the pink lake’ because of the large population of flamingoes that reside here. Through a guided game drive, you will get to see and photograph these beautiful birds in their natural habitat. The reserve also has many animals, so expect to see waterbucks, impalas, rhinos, and buffaloes.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve 

You will have a full breakfast and check out from your accommodations heading for the Masai
Mara National Reserve on day two. The five-hour trip sees stunning backdrops and
opportunities to create unique Instagram posts.
You will arrive at the reserve at lunchtime for checking in and a delicious meal. After freshening
up, a driver will take you on a game drive in the park. You will see some beautiful animals,
including all of the big five, prolific bird species, jackals, zebras, wildebeests, crocodiles,
buffaloes, and cheetahs, to mention a few.
You also get to experience The Great Migration if you visit between July and early October. You
can stop by the hot air balloon safari stop. You can go up on a balloon trip to see the reserve
from a different perspective for an extra fee.
The animals and views are in abundance, so bring your best camera and capture these
breathtaking moments.

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara Reserve

On the third day, you will have morning coffee and leave for exploration of the reserve. You will
go on a game drive, where you will find animals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards preparing for
the morning hunt.
Additionally, you will meet the gazelles, zebras, giraffes, Hyenas, impalas, rhinos, and
waterbucks. Be on the lookout for the many bird species, including ostriches.
Then you will go back for a full breakfast before departing to the mid-morning game drive. In
the afternoon, you will picnic on the grounds.

Day 4: Masai Mara Reserve Tour

As the hub of wildlife, the Mara offers you the opportunity to mingle with big cats and other animals in their natural habitat. After a sunrise breakfast, you will go on a guided game drive within the reserve to see the magnificent creatures that reside here. Expect a lovely lunch and an afternoon taking pictures of the beautiful wildlife.

Day 5: Masai Mara Reserve to Nairobi

An early morning game drive awaits you on day five. You will have the chance to see early bird grazers and predators. This is also a chance to catch the magnificent sunrise that bathes these lush grounds in a tranquil orange. After this, you will enjoy a yummy breakfast and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Be sure to get lots of souvenirs to remember your trip fondly.
